Can I walk on the cover? Yes! However, the cover should only be walked on in cases of emergency.

Can I use the auto-cover as a winter cover? Yes! However, Coverstar East Coast Inc. stresses the importance of maintaining the proper water level of the pool after winterizing; no lower than 6 inches below the track. We are happy to provide our winter use policy upon request.
How long does it take to open or close the cover? The average 20 x 40 pool will open or close in under a minute.
How do I operate the cover? On a typical installation the Coverstar automatic pool cover is operated with a single switch. The standard switch looks like a light switch and stays in the center position. The homeowner can press up and hold to close the cover, and press down and hold to uncover; releasing the switch once the cover has opened or closed completely. It has a lockable faceplate and must be installed within full view of the entire pool.
How do I remove water or debris from the cover? Coverstar provides every customer with an automatic pool cover pump which automatically checks for water on the cover every couple of minutes and will shut itself off if there is no water to pump off. Small debris can be removed with a leaf blower, pool brush, or rolled into the cover box being careful not to damage the cover material.
